Travel to Curitiba, about 280 miles southwest of Sao Paulo and the home of CCI-Brazil—Crossover’s sending base in Brazil. If you are experienced and desire a ministry away from the comfort and trappings of civilization, invest 10-14 days in an inland fishing village assisting a new church plant for a rewarding challenge. For the less experienced, live within Curitiba and conduct evangelism, construction, Vacation Bible School or other ministries in the favelas—the shanty towns of the poor. You will find the Brazilians are open to the gospel presentation; translators for Portuguese are provided so your team will always be involved in meaningful and life-changing ministry experiences.
