This opportunity is best for those who have had prior short-term ministry experiences. Though friendly to Americans, the French-Canadian culture—believed to be the largest unreached people group in North America—adopted a culturally liberal social agenda in the 1960’s that created a less-friendly attitude toward the church (only .5% of the people profess Christ as Savior!).

Our ministry, in partnership with Fellowship French Missions in and around Montreal, assists their members through construction help, small group Bible studies, door-to-door evangelism, and other ministry outreaches. The encouragement to these church pastors is significant. As one pastor said, "your one week of team effort saved me six months of personal effort!" A ministry option is a guided evening prayer walk through downtown Montreal that powerfully uncovers the decadent and hard lives being lived by those without Christ; the impact on many of our past students has been profound! A Wisconsin pastor wrote "the ripple effect from the team after they returned probably pushed our church forward 2 years with its missions vision."

Though speaking some basic French is helpful, translators are provided!
